Senses: Senses warmth and fluid through bulkheads within 30 feet, Unharmed by vacuum, cold, and radiation

// Traits

Seal-Slider. The void leech moves through gaps, vents, and suit joins; standard cover and closed bulkheads do not stop its approach unless fully airtight and inspected.

Latched Feeding. While attached to a creature, the leech drains 1d4 Vitality from it automatically at the start of each of the leech's turns and compromises the host's void-seal. Removing it takes an action and a Strength or Medicae check DC 12; tearing it free on a failed check deals 1d4 rending damage to the host.

// Actions

Silent Attach. Melee Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target (with Advantage if the leech is unnoticed). Hit: 1d4 piercing damage and the leech attaches to the target. A victim in a sealed suit may not notice until the suit alarm or the cold spot; an Awareness check DC 13 spots it.

Constrict Seal. The leech tightens around an attached host's suit joins. The host's void-seal integrity drops one step; in vacuum, a breached seal starts a suffocation countdown at the GM's clock.

Morale: Mindless appetite: detaches only from fire, extreme cold, or a dead host, and drifts away sluggish and swollen.

Tactics: Play it as dread and procedure: sweep checks, buddy inspections, the one crawlspace nobody swept. An attached leech mid-combat forces a choice between fighting on while it drains and spending actions on removal under fire.

Loot / Evidence / Hooks: A gravid leech's fluid sacs fetch a grim price from Magos Biologis buyers, if anyone is willing to carry them home.

Enemy Dossier

GM Reference

A Void Leech is a flat, patient parasite adapted to hulls and hard vacuum, sliding through seals to fasten onto warmth and fluid. The horror is not the damage; it is where it is attached, and what removing it costs.

// Battlefield Use

Use this enemy during void work and derelict crawls, when suit integrity and calm hands are the real Vitality.

// Threat Profile

Low durability, stealthy attachment, suit and seal damage, drain over time, panic-inducing rather than lethal in the open — worse in vacuum.

// Signature Traits

Seal-Slider. Moves through gaps, vents, and suit joins; standard cover and bulkheads do not stop its approach.

Latched Feeding. Once attached, drains Vitality automatically each round and compromises the host's void-seal; removal requires a check, and tearing it free costs extra.

// Signature Actions

Silent Attach. Stealth approach and latch; the victim may not notice until the suit alarm or the cold spot.

Constrict Seal. Damages the host's suit integrity; in vacuum, this converts a parasite problem into a countdown.

Morale: Mindless appetite: detaches only from fire, extreme cold, or a dead host, and drifts away sluggish and swollen.

Tactics: Play the leech as dread and procedure: sweep checks, buddy inspections, the one crawlspace nobody swept. An attached leech mid-combat forces an awful choice — fight on while it drains, or spend actions on removal under fire. In vacuum scenes, one leech can headline the encounter.
