Tzeentch Icon-Bearer
A bearer of shifting signs that twist battlefield outcomes.
Threat File — Tzeentch Icon-Bearer
TR 5 · Chaos God-Aligned CultsSaves: Willpower +6
Standard of Shifting Signs. Tzeentchian allies within 30 feet may collectively reroll two failed rolls per round; the icon chooses which, not the allies.
Aura of Slipping Fate. Enemies within 15 feet treat one success per round (GM's choice) as a bare success with a complication.
Nine-Fold Anchor. While the icon stands, one teleporting or phasing ally per round may arrive in an unoccupied space adjacent to it.
Icon Staff. Melee Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 1d8 + 1 bludgeoning damage plus 1d4 warp damage.
Invert the Omen. Once per scene, the bearer swaps the outcomes of the last two rolls made within its aura — a hit becomes the miss, the miss becomes the hit — catastrophically.
Plant the Sign. The bearer fixes the icon in place. Its auras persist there even if the bearer moves or falls, and the ground within 15 feet stops being trustworthy: it counts as difficult terrain for enemies.
Morale: Fights while the script says fight; abandons the icon and flees the moment its masters' plan says the icon has served.
Tactics: Let its aura be felt before it is understood — successes souring, enemy saves landing improbably. It is the cabal's logistics: rerolls for the witch, arrival point for the tricks. When the icon is destroyed it discharges violently; the party learns to want distance from the thing they must reach.
Loot / Evidence / Hooks: Fragments of the shattered icon still tug at nearby dice rolls; carrying one is Corruption bait dressed as a trophy.

Use this enemy to make a Tzeentchian formation uncanny — rerolls, swapped fates, and misfortune arriving on schedule.
Moderate durability, weak attacks, probability-warping ally support, enemy misfortune aura, high-value kill with an unstable aftermath.
