Senses: Crewed observation decks and gun-slits on every facing; nothing outside approaches unseen, but the interior is another matter

// Traits

Idol of the Waaagh. Every ork that can see the stompa fights as if led and makes no Morale checks. When it falls, the entire ork force checks Morale at once and breaks on any failure.

Too Big to Kill Politely. The stompa ignores any single hit that deals 14 or less damage, and direct Vitality attrition is not a plan: meaningful damage requires the belly hatches, the mega-kannon magazine, or the engine decks — from inside. Run its defeat as objectives (boarding, sabotage, detonation), not a shooting solution.

A Hundred Grots and a Mek. At the end of each round, the crew repairs 10 Vitality unless the party has killed or driven off the mek and its grot gangs. Sabotage must outpace maintenance.

// Actions

Mega-Kannon. A 30-foot-radius zone within 300 feet is erased. Each creature in the zone makes an Agility Save DC 17, taking 8d10 fire damage on a failure or half on a success. Survivors make a Willpower Save DC 17 or are Frightened until the end of their next turn, from the sound alone.

Stomp. The stompa moves up to its Movement. Each creature and structure in its path makes an Agility Save DC 17 or takes 4d10 + 8 bludgeoning damage and is knocked Prone; buildings are crushed, and falling wreckage extends the kill zone 10 feet to either side. Where it walked is a new map.

Disgorge the Mob. Ramps drop and a fresh ork mob deploys from the hull, acting on its own initiative next round. The stompa may do this every third round, indefinitely, until the party seals or destroys the ramps.

// Reactions

Belly Gun Broadside. When a creature ends its movement within 60 feet of the stompa and outside cover, the belly guns fire. Ranged Attack: +10 to hit, range 60/180 ft., one target. Hit: 2d8 + 4 ballistic damage, and the target makes a Willpower Save DC 17 or is Suppressed until the start of its next turn.

Morale: Does not make Morale checks; it advances until destroyed, and the crew regards dying aboard as promotion.

Tactics: Run this as a mission, not a monster. Give the party a route in — belly hatch, boarding from a wreck, kommando-cut hull breach — and interior objectives on a timer: the engine decks, the ammunition stores, the mek shrine. Outside, its guns set an escalating clock; inside, it is a dungeon crawl through crew and machinery. Its death should end the ork assault as a whole, visibly and at once.

Loot / Evidence / Hooks: A fallen stompa is a salvage economy: promethium bunkers, a mega-kannon the Mechanicus will pay a planet's tithe to study, and an idol-head that breaks ork morale in this sector for a generation wherever it is displayed.

Enemy Dossier

GM Reference

A stompa-type is a god-effigy of Gork or possibly Mork, built to titan scale from scrap, faith, and enough guns to arm a regiment. It is not a vehicle the party fights; it is terrain that hates them, crewed by a hundred screaming believers.

// Battlefield Use

Use this threat as a campaign set-piece — an objective encounter of sabotage, boarding, or survival, never a stand-up fight.

// Threat Profile

Threat Profile: Titan-scale durability, area-annihilating firepower, crushing advance, crewed interior, objective-based defeat only; direct Vitality attrition is not a plan.

// Signature Traits

Idol of the Waaagh. Every ork that can see the stompa fights as if led and checks no Morale; its fall breaks the entire ork force at once.

Too Big to Kill Politely. Immune to attacks below a heavy-weapon threshold; meaningful damage means the belly hatches, the mega-kannon, or the engine decks — from inside.

Walking Catastrophe. Its movement crushes buildings and squads; where it walked is a new map.

A Hundred Grots and a Mek. The crew repairs damage between rounds; sabotage must outpace maintenance.

// Signature Actions

Mega-Kannon. Erases a zone; survivors of the blast save against fear from the sound alone.

Belly Gun Broadside. Continuous secondary fire that Suppresses everything in a wide arc every round.

Stomp. Crushes everything in its path; falling wreckage extends the kill zone.

Disgorge the Mob. Ramps drop and a fresh mob deploys from the hull, every few rounds, indefinitely.

Morale: No Morale; it advances until destroyed, and the crew regards dying aboard as promotion.

Tactics: Encounter and objective notes are mandatory: run this as a mission, not a monster. Give the party a route in — belly hatch, boarding from a wreck, kommando-cut hull breach — and interior objectives with a timer: the engine decks, the ammunition stores, the mek shrine. Outside, the stompa's guns set an escalating clock; inside, it is a dungeon crawl through crew and machinery. Its death should end the ork assault as a whole, visibly and at once.
