// Traits

Deffgun. At the start of each of the loota's turns, roll 1d6 for the gun's mood: 1-2, single heavy shot (Deffgun Barrage as written); 3-4, suppressive spray (Hose the Lane); 5-6, area blast (Deffgun Barrage hits every creature within 5 feet of the target, Agility Save DC 13 for half). Not even the loota knows.

Loot Pride. The loota will not abandon its gun, reposition sensibly, or stop firing to think. Wherever the deffgun is, the loota is, including bad ideas. It turns slowly; attacks from its flanks and rear gain +1 to hit.

// Actions

Deffgun Barrage. Ranged Attack: +5 to hit, range 120/360 ft., one target. Hit: 2d10 + 2 ballistic damage.

Hose the Lane. The loota suppresses a straight Fire Lane within deffgun range until the start of its next turn. Creatures that enter or end their turn in the lane make a Willpower Save DC 13 or are Pinned.

Morale: Breaks with the mob, but carries the gun with it, firing backward over its shoulder the whole retreat.

Tactics: Emplace lootas on a flank with long sightlines and roll the gun mode in the open — the party's uncertainty is the weapon. Flanking them works; the deffgun turns slowly and the loota turns slower.

Loot / Evidence / Hooks: The deffgun is a mek-welded fusion of every heavy weapon it ever stole; a Tech check DC 14 identifies at least one component the Imperium reported missing decades ago.

Enemy Dossier

GM Reference

The loota hauls a deffgun — a mek-built fusion of every heavy weapon it ever stole — and fires it with more affection than aim. Its output is randomized; its enthusiasm is not.

// Battlefield Use

Use this enemy as ork heavy fire support whose exact threat the party cannot predict round to round.

// Threat Profile

Threat Profile: Medium durability, heavy but erratic long-range fire, strong Suppression, unpredictable damage profile, static and vulnerable once flanked.

// Signature Traits

Deffgun. Each round its fire is rolled: a long single shot, a suppressive spray, or an area blast; not even the loota knows.

Loot Pride. Will not abandon its gun; wherever the deffgun is, the loota is, including bad ideas.

// Signature Actions

Deffgun Barrage. Heavy ranged attack in whatever mode the gun feels like today.

Hose the Lane. Suppresses a Fire Lane; failed Willpower Saves cause Pinned along its length.

Snaggin' Time. Pauses mid-fight to loot a fallen enemy's weapon; genuinely leaves its post to do it.

Morale: Breaks with the mob, but carries the gun with it, firing backward over its shoulder the whole retreat.

Tactics: Emplace lootas on a flank with long sightlines and roll their gun mode in the open — the party's uncertainty is the weapon. They will not reposition sensibly and will not stop firing to think. Flanking them works; the deffgun turns slowly and the loota turns slower.
