Saves: Toughness +7

// Traits

Exo-Frame Brace. If the Thunderkyn does not move during its turn, it is braced until it next moves: its heavy weapons suffer no penalties and its Reactive Fire is not made at Disadvantage.

Load-Bearing Stubbornness. While braced, the Thunderkyn cannot be pushed, knocked Prone, or Pinned. It is furniture with a grievance.

// Actions

Graviton Blast Cannon. The Thunderkyn fires at a 15-foot zone within 90 feet. Creatures in the zone make a Toughness Save DC 14, taking 3d10 + 4 bludgeoning damage on a failure or half on a success; on a failure their speed is halved until the end of their next turn under localized gravity. Cover in the zone degrades one step.

SP Conversion Beamer. Ranged Attack: +7 to hit, range 60/240 ft., one target. Hit: 2d10 + 4 energy damage, or 4d10 + 4 energy damage if the target is more than 60 feet away. The far approach is the worst approach.

Reposition Under Protest. The Thunderkyn moves at half speed, losing its braced status until the end of its next turn. It does this rarely and resents it.

// Reactions

Reactive Fire. While braced, the Thunderkyn makes Reactive Fire with its SP Conversion Beamer against the first creature that crosses its Fire Lane each round.

Morale: Stubborn hold: withdraws only on direct order or when the position is mathematically indefensible, and files a grudge either way.

Tactics: Set the Thunderkyn where its lane matters and let it convert patience into denial. The party's counters are flanking, smoke, and forcing repositioning - each costs them time under the guns of the Kin line it anchors. Do not move it to chase; its immobility is doctrine, not oversight.

Loot / Evidence / Hooks: A vehicle-grade graviton cannon and its exo-frame mount, if the party can carry it - which is rather the point.

Enemy Dossier

GM Reference

A Kin Thunderkyn-Type Heavy is a broad-slab specialist in an exo-frame built to carry weapons that normally ride on vehicles. It plants its feet, and a section of the battlefield stops being usable.

// Battlefield Use

Use this enemy when the Kin line needs a heavy anchor — the gun that makes open ground a filed grievance.

// Threat Profile

High durability, vehicle-grade ranged firepower, braced immovability, area denial, slow repositioning as its only real weakness.

// Signature Traits

Exo-Frame Brace. While braced and stationary, its heavy weapon suffers no penalties and its Reactive Fire does not suffer Disadvantage.

Load-Bearing Stubbornness. Cannot be pushed, knocked prone, or Pinned while braced; it is furniture with a grievance.

// Signature Actions

Graviton Blast Cannon. Heavy area shot that crushes cover and slows survivors under localized gravity.

SP Conversion Beamer. Long-range beam that grows deadlier with distance; the far approach is the worst approach.

Reposition Under Protest. Moves at half speed, losing braced status; it does this rarely and resents it.
