Proficiencies: Intimidation +7
Daemonic Nature. Does not make Morale checks and is immune to fear and Suppression. At 0 Vitality it is banished, not killed.
Voice of the Tally. Lesser Khorne daemons within 60 feet gain +1 to hit and may be redirected at the herald's command.
Grown on Slaughter. Each enemy that drops to 0 Vitality within 30 feet of the herald, by any hand, feeds it +1 melee damage for the rest of the scene (maximum +5).
Hellblade of Office. The herald makes two attacks. Melee Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 2d10 + 5 slashing damage. On a critical hit, the target suffers Corruption exposure and enemies within 15 feet check Morale.
Point the Tide. The herald commands: one lesser Khorne daemon unit within 60 feet immediately moves up to its speed or makes one attack.
Claim the Kill. The herald attacks one Prone, Frightened, or bloodied enemy at Advantage with its hellblade. On a kill, every daemon it commands may immediately move 10 feet.
Tally-Wrath. When an enemy within its reach drops to 0 Vitality, the herald may make one Hellblade of Office attack against a different target in reach.
Morale: Does not make Morale checks (daemonic nature). It seeks the largest tally on the field and will abandon tactics for a worthy duel, which is its only exploitable flaw.
Tactics: Let the party notice the wave has a conductor: charges that time together, packs that flank. It directs from the second rank until its tally-hunger pulls it forward — a champion's open challenge can bait it out of position and cost the tide its brain.
Loot / Evidence / Hooks: Its brass rank-chains record a tally in a script that hurts to read; the count includes names the party knows.
Enemy Dossier
GM ReferenceA Khorne Herald-Type is a lesser commander of slaughter — a bloodletter risen by tally, directing the tide it once ran in. It proves the uncomfortable truth that Khorne's daemons can be tactical when the blood arithmetic demands it.
Use this enemy to give a daemonic assault a brain: the piece that turns bloodletter waves from a hazard into a coordinated massacre.
High durability, elite melee, commands lesser Khorne daemons, fear pressure, kill-fed escalation, immune to morale and Suppression, banished rather than killed.
