Heavy Servo-Turret
A heavy emplacement that controls a lane.
Threat File — Heavy Servo-Turret
TR 6 · Machines, Servitors & AutomataSaves: Toughness +7
Senses: Targeting cogitator ignores dim light and smoke within its arc of fire
Machine Mind. The heavy servo-turret does not make Morale checks. It holds its lane forever.
Armored Housing. Attacks against the turret's frontal armor deal 3 less damage. Attacks against its rear access panels ignore this reduction and gain +2 to hit.
Overwatch Cogitator. The turret's Reactive Fire never suffers Disadvantage and may trigger twice per round instead of once.
Anti-Materiel Round. Ranged Attack: +6 to hit, range 150/450 ft., one target. Hit: 2d12 + 4 ballistic damage. The shot punches through light cover, and any cover in its lane it strikes is degraded one step.
Saturation Burst. The turret suppresses a 15-foot zone within its arc. Creatures in the zone make a Willpower Save DC 13 or become Pinned until the start of the turret's next turn.
Overwatch Fire. The turret makes Reactive Fire against a creature crossing its arc. Per its Overwatch Cogitator, this may occur twice per round.
Morale: Does not make Morale checks (machine mind). It is active until destroyed, powered down, or fed false credentials.
Tactics: Treat it as terrain with a kill count: establish its arc early, then make the encounter about the approach — vents, smoke, power conduits, the operator's shack. Direct assault should feel like a failed plan.
Loot / Evidence / Hooks: The operator's shack holds its credential wafers and the power schematics for every emplacement on this level.
Enemy Dossier
GM ReferenceA Heavy Servo-Turret is an emplaced weapon system that owns a lane outright — anti-materiel fire behind armor plate and a targeting cogitator with infinite patience. Crossing its arc without a plan is not a risk; it is a result.
Use this enemy when a corridor, gate, or courtyard must be genuinely impassable until the party solves it.
Threat Profile: High durability behind armor, devastating lane damage, strong Suppression, no morale, immobile, defeated by geometry, sabotage, or spoofed credentials rather than attrition.
Machine Mind. No morale; it holds its lane forever.
Armored Housing. Frontal attacks deal reduced damage; rear access panels do not.
Overwatch Cogitator. Its Reactive Fire does not suffer Disadvantage and may trigger twice per round.
Anti-Materiel Round. Heavy attack that punches through light cover; cover in its lane degrades with use.
Saturation Burst. Suppresses a 15-foot zone in its arc; failed Willpower Saves cause Pinned.
Morale: None. Active until destroyed, powered down, or fed false credentials.
Tactics: Treat the turret as terrain with a kill count: establish its arc early, then make the encounter about the approach — vents, smoke, power conduits, the operator's shack. Direct assault should feel like a failed plan, not a bold one. Pair with infantry who herd the party into the lane.
