Proficiencies: Stealth +8, Awareness +6

Senses: Suit sensors see normally in darkness and smoke within 120 feet

// Traits

Impossible Silhouette. Despite its size, the ghostkeel counts as concealed against attackers more than 30 feet away; ranged attacks against it at that distance suffer Disadvantage.

Stealth Drone Screen. Two escort stealth drones (Defense 13, Vitality 5 each) extend its countermeasures. While at least one lives, Impossible Silhouette applies even within 30 feet; when both are destroyed, the trait is lost entirely until the suit escapes and recovers.

// Actions

Fusion Collider. Ranged Attack: +8 to hit, range 40/80 ft., one target. Hit: 4d10 + 5 energy damage. Against a target within 20 feet, this attack ignores armor-based Defense bonuses and destroys the cover the target is using.

Cyclic Burst. The suit rakes a 15-foot zone within 100 feet. Creatures in the zone make a Willpower Save DC 15 or become Suppressed until the start of the suit's next turn; the suit then moves up to half its Movement.

Ghost Withdrawal. The suit disengages at full Movement into cover or concealment without provoking Reactive Fire.

// Reactions

Holophoton Countermeasures. Once per scene, when an attack would hit the suit, decoys and ghost-images bloom and the attack misses instead.

Morale: Never stands its ground; withdraws when bloodied or revealed and returns on its own terms.

Tactics: Run the ghostkeel as a horror-movie monster with a fusion gun: strike, displace, and let the party argue about where it went. Its counterplay is killing the stealth drones and denying its disengagement lanes; reward parties who work that out.

Loot / Evidence / Hooks: Holophoton emitters and a fusion collider core, if anything that hidden can be said to be recovered.

Enemy Dossier

GM Reference

A battlesuit the size of a small walker that should not be able to hide, and does. The ghostkeel-type is an ambush weapon system: it chooses the range, opens with something devastating, and is gone before the smoke clears.

// Battlefield Use

Use this enemy as a recurring phantom that strikes the party across an encounter or a whole mission, never fighting fair.

// Threat Profile

Threat Profile: High durability, very high ambush burst damage, large-frame stealth with countermeasure drones, controls engagement range, frustrating by design.

// Signature Traits

Holophoton Countermeasures. Once per scene, forces an attack that would hit it to miss as decoys and ghost-images bloom.

Impossible Silhouette. Counts as concealed beyond 30 feet despite its size; ranged attacks at distance suffer Disadvantage.

Stealth Drone Screen. Its escort drones extend its concealment; killing them strips the Disadvantage.

// Signature Actions

Fusion Collider Ambush. Massive short-range opening attack that deletes armor, cover, or one unlucky target.

Cyclic Burst. Sustained fire that Suppresses a zone while the suit displaces.

Ghost Withdrawal. Disengages at full Movement into concealment without provoking Reactive Fire.

Morale: Never stands its ground; withdraws when bloodied or revealed and returns on its own terms.

Tactics: Run the ghostkeel as a horror-movie monster with a fusion gun. Strike, displace, and let the party argue about where it went. Its counterplay is killing the stealth drones and denying it disengagement lanes — reward parties who work that out.
