Proficiencies: Command +6, Guile +5

// Traits

Sermon of Sweet Decay. Plague allies within 30 feet do not make Morale checks and advance when the preacher gestures.

Voice Like Warm Rot. Enemies who can hear the preacher suffer -1 to Willpower Saves against fear and despair effects.

Blessed Congregation. Once per round as a free action, the preacher redirects a poxwalker, rabble crowd, or plague cultist group: it immediately moves up to its Movement toward a point the preacher chooses.

// Actions

Litany of Surrender. One enemy within 60 feet that can hear the preacher makes a Willpower Save DC 12 or is Pinned by crushing lethargy — why keep fighting? — until the end of its next turn.

Censer Swing. Melee Attack: +3 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 1d6 + 1 bludgeoning damage. The censer trails spore-smoke: the preacher's square and one adjacent square are contaminated until the start of its next turn, and a creature ending its turn there makes a Toughness Save DC 12 or takes 1d4 toxic damage.

Call Them Home. Every plague creature within 60 feet may immediately move up to its Movement toward a point the preacher chooses.

Morale: Does not flee. It welcomes death as reunion and spends its last words on one more sermon.

Tactics: Keep it in the congregation's heart, conducting rather than fighting. Its despair pressure is worst against the party's frontline — the people most tired of holding. Killing it stops the crowd's coordination but not the crowd; make the party notice the difference.

Loot / Evidence / Hooks: A sermon-book of gentle heresies annotated with congregation names — half the district is on the rolls.

Enemy Dossier

GM Reference

The Filth Preacher is a foul orator who makes surrender sound like peace and infection sound like love. It leads plague congregations the way despair leads the exhausted — gently, and downhill.

// Battlefield Use

Use this enemy to give plague forces direction and to attack the party's morale with something worse than fear: comfort.

// Threat Profile

Moderate durability, weak attacks, strong ally control, despair-based morale pressure on the party, decapitation target that dies smiling.
