Fiend-Type Horror
A sensory predator that disrupts reactions.
Threat File — Fiend-Type Horror
TR 9 · Daemons & Warp EntitiesSaves: Agility +8
Daemonic Nature. Does not make Morale checks and is immune to fear and Suppression. At 0 Vitality it is banished in a fading discord of scent and sound.
Soporific Musk. Enemies within 15 feet cannot make Reactive attacks or Reactive Fire, and suffer Disadvantage on initiative.
Skittering Gait. The fiend moves 50 feet across walls, wreckage, and ceilings without penalty.
Crushing Pincers. The fiend makes two attacks. Melee Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 2d6 + 4 piercing damage. If both attacks hit the same target, it is Grappled and Exposed.
Disorienting Keen. Enemies within 20 feet make a Toughness Save DC 15 or lose their bearings, moving at half speed until the end of their next turn.
Slip the Line. The fiend passes through the party's formation without provoking Reactive attacks or Reactive Fire, ending its move adjacent to a backline target.
Lashing Tail. When a creature hits the fiend with a melee attack, its tail snaps back. Melee Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 1d10 + 4 bludgeoning damage.
Morale: Does not make Morale checks (daemonic nature). It circles wounded prey with dreadful patience and abandons fights only when the musk has nothing left to smother.
Tactics: Send it in first: its aura turns the party's overwatch, counterattacks, and reactions off, and everything that follows arrives against a slower, dumber defense. It hunts the characters whose builds depend on reacting. The counter is range — its entire threat lives inside fifteen feet.
Loot / Evidence / Hooks: Glands of the musk survive banishment for an hour; distilled, the stuff is a reaction-killing weapon so obviously heretical that everyone who tests it keeps a sample.
Enemy Dossier
GM ReferenceA Fiend-Type Horror is a sensory predator built from the wrong parts of several nightmares — scorpion-quick, musk-shrouded, and specialized in dismantling the party's ability to react. Around it, trained reflexes simply stop arriving.
Use this enemy to strip the party's reactions and coordination before heavier threats commit — the monster that makes veterans fight like recruits.
High speed, strong melee, reaction-denial aura, disorienting musk, fear pressure, immune to morale and Suppression, banished rather than killed.
