Senses: Sees clearly in total darkness, Senses living creatures within 30 feet by their pain

// Traits

Sculpted Flesh. The haemonculus reduces all incoming damage by 5 and is immune to Poisoned, Frightened, and pain-based effects. Its body is a masterwork of redundancies and it feels pain only as data.

Aura of the Table. Enemies starting their turn within 30 feet make a Willpower Save DC 15 or are Frightened until the end of their turn. It looks at people the way surgeons look at charts.

Ancient Contingency. Somewhere in the lair, a vat holds its next body. If the haemonculus is destroyed, it returns within days unless its resurrection amniotics — a separate objective — are found and destroyed first.

// Actions

Flesh-Sculptor's Touch. Melee Attack: +8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 2d10 + 4 rending damage, and the target makes a Toughness Save DC 15 or suffers a lasting alteration: Disadvantage on all checks and saves with one attribute of the GM's choice until treated by serious medicae care.

Liquifier Spray. A 15-foot cone of dissolving agents. Creatures in the cone make an Agility Save DC 15, taking 3d8 toxic damage on a failure or half on a success. Cover in the cone is reduced by one step and non-powered armor in it loses 1 Defense until repaired.

Rise, My Works. Wrack and grotesque allies within 60 feet immediately move up to their speed or make one attack, and one downed wrack or grotesque within that range rejoins the fight with 10 Vitality.

// Reactions

Casual Anesthesia. When a creature within 30 feet hits the haemonculus with an attack, the attacker makes a Toughness Save DC 15 or is Pinned and unable to speak until the end of its next turn, wrapped in aerosolized surgical calm. Once per round.

Morale: Never breaks — it withdraws with amused patience when genuinely threatened, because it has already survived death often enough to find the party's effort charming.

Tactics: Stage the encounter in its gallery: grotesques as set pieces, wracks as staff, captives as leverage, and the haemonculus narrating. It fights like it has infinite time, spending constructs while it studies the party's capabilities for later use. The true objectives are the captives, the contingency vats, and leaving before it finishes its notes.

Loot / Evidence / Hooks: Centuries of fleshcraft formulae, keys to the specimen cages, and the location of its resurrection vats — the only loot that actually ends it.

Enemy Dossier

GM Reference

A Drukhari Haemonculus is a flesh artist whose inventions are worse than death and whose own body is a portfolio piece — centuries of self-modification, contingency clones, and a professional interest in the party's anatomy. Killing it is usually a postponement.

// Battlefield Use

Use this threat as the boss of a coven arc: the mind behind the harvests, met in a lair built from its previous work.

// Threat Profile

Threat Profile: Boss-grade — unnatural durability and pain immunity, terror aura of professional interest, poison and flesh-warping attacks, commands wracks and grotesques, resurrection contingencies that demand an objective beyond mere killing.

// Signature Traits

Sculpted Flesh. Reduces all incoming damage; its body is a masterwork of redundancies and it feels pain only as data.

Master of the Covenite Lair. In its own domain, walls, vats, and specimens respond to it; the lair itself is a stat block at GM discretion.

Ancient Contingency. Somewhere, a vat holds its next body. Encounter notes: destroying the resurrection amniotics (a separate objective) is the only permanent answer.

Aura of the Table. Enemies starting their turn within 30 feet save on Willpower or are Frightened; it looks at people the way surgeons look at charts.

// Signature Actions

Flesh-Sculptor's Touch. Melee attack that rearranges rather than wounds; failed Toughness Save imposes a lasting debilitating alteration.

Liquifier Spray. Cone of dissolving agents; cover, armor, and flesh in the zone all degrade.

Rise, My Works. Wrack and grotesque allies within 60 feet immediately act, and one downed construct rejoins the fight.

Casual Anesthesia. One target saves on Toughness or is Pinned and silenced by aerosolized surgical calm.

Morale: Never breaks — it withdraws with amused patience when threatened, because it has already survived death often enough to find the party's effort charming.
