// Traits

Medium Plating. Any single ballistic or las attack that deals 10 or less damage is shrugged off and deals no damage. Anti-armor weapons and side or rear shots from within 30 feet ignore this trait.

Armored Delivery. Up to twelve infantry ride inside with Heavy Cover, ignoring the approach entirely. They dismount in cover at the moment of contact, unsuppressed and in formation.

Rolling Rampart. Dismounted allies within 10 feet of the carrier gain Light Cover against fire from the far side of its hull.

// Actions

Hull Gun. Ranged Attack: +7 to hit, range 80/240 ft., one target. Hit: 2d8 + 3 ballistic damage.

Hull Gun Suppression. The carrier suppresses a 10-foot zone within hull gun range. Creatures in the zone make a Willpower Save DC 15 or become Pinned until the start of the carrier's next turn.

Disgorge Squad. The carrier deploys its embarked infantry as one action. They arrive unsuppressed, in formation, and in any open spaces within 10 feet of the rear hatch.

// Reactions

Covering Burst. When an embarked or recently dismounted ally within 30 feet is attacked, the carrier may make one hull gun attack against the attacker at -2 to hit.

Morale: Crew morale: withdraws when its squad is dead or its armor is opened. An empty carrier is rarely brave.

Tactics: Time the arrival for maximum inconvenience: the flank, the extraction point, the moment the party commits elsewhere. After delivery, keep it moving as suppression and mobile cover, not a tank. Parties who ignore the box fight fresh infantry twice.

Loot / Evidence / Hooks: A working transport is a prize in itself, plus squad stores, a vox-caster, and whatever regimental markings the party would rather not be seen driving.

Enemy Dossier

GM Reference

A Chimera-Style Troop Carrier is an armored box that delivers a squad intact to the worst possible place, then covers them with hull guns. Killing the passengers after they dismount is the expensive way to learn what transports are for.

// Battlefield Use

Use this vehicle to make enemy infantry arrive fresh, together, and behind armor — and to punish parties who ignore the box they came in.

// Threat Profile

// Signature Traits

Rolling Rampart. Dismounted allies within its shadow gain Light Cover against fire from the far side.

// Signature Actions

Disgorge Squad. Deploys its infantry as one action; they arrive unsuppressed and in formation.

Hull Gun Suppression. Suppresses a 10-foot zone; failed Willpower Saves cause Pinned while the squad moves.

Overrun Reposition. Drives through the fight to re-collect or re-deliver its squad under fire.

Morale: Crew withdraws when the squad is dead or the armor is opened; an empty carrier is rarely brave.

Tactics: Time the arrival for maximum inconvenience — the flank, the extraction point, the moment the party commits elsewhere. After delivery, keep it moving as suppression and mobile cover, not a tank. Parties who kill the transport first fight tired infantry; parties who don't fight fresh ones twice.
