Saves: Willpower +7

Proficiencies: Lore +5, Guile +4

Senses: Cannot be surprised by living creatures; always knows the location of any psyker within 60 feet

// Traits

Unsanctioned Conduit. The witch casts without discipline. When it uses a psychic action while bloodied, or fails one badly, roll on the Perils table; the result plays out in the open for both sides.

Leaking Power. An enemy that ends its turn adjacent to the witch must make a Willpower Save DC 13 or suffer minor Corruption exposure.

// Actions

Witchfire Lash. Ranged Attack: +5 to hit, range 60 ft., one target. Hit: 2d8 + 2 warp damage. This attack ignores Light Cover.

Grasp of the Immaterium. One creature within 60 feet must make a Willpower Save DC 13 or be Pinned by unseen hands until the end of its next turn.

Scream Through the Veil. Every enemy in a 15-foot zone within 60 feet makes a Willpower Save DC 13. On failure, a target is Frightened until the end of its next turn and is Exposed if it was in cover.

Morale: Overconfident until bloodied, then pushes its powers recklessly; it would rather risk Perils than retreat.

Tactics: Open with control from behind bodies, Pinning the party's heavy hitter and frightening the line. When it gets desperate, escalate to bigger powers and worse Perils; the party's own psyker should feel personally hunted.

Loot / Evidence / Hooks: Warp-scorched charms and a stolen grimoire that whispers; carrying either untested is a slow way to meet the witch's patron.

Enemy Dossier

GM Reference

A Chaos Witch is an unsanctioned psyker fully in the warp's debt — leaking power, hearing answers, and mistaking both for mastery. Every round it fights is a round reality spends at risk.

// Battlefield Use

Use this enemy when the encounter needs psychic danger, Corruption stakes, and the standing threat of Perils going wrong for everyone.

// Threat Profile

Low durability, high psychic damage and control, Corruption exposure, unstable — its own powers are a hazard to both sides.

// Signature Traits

Unsanctioned Conduit. Casts without discipline; when it pushes or fails badly, roll Perils and let the table see it.

Warp-Fed Senses. Cannot be surprised by living creatures; always knows where the party's psyker is.

Leaking Power. Enemies that end their turn adjacent to the witch risk minor Corruption exposure.

// Signature Actions

Witchfire Lash. Ranged psychic attack that ignores Light Cover.

Grasp of the Immaterium. One target saves against Willpower or is held Pinned by unseen hands.

Scream Through the Veil. Area fear burst; failed saves leave targets Frightened and shaken loose from cover.

Morale: Overconfident until bloodied, then pushes its powers recklessly — it would rather risk Perils than retreat.

Tactics: Open with control — Pin the party's heavy hitter, frighten the line — and keep the witch behind bodies. When it gets desperate, escalate: bigger powers, worse Perils, collateral warp effects. The party's own psyker should feel personally hunted.
