Tactics: Advance through Fire Lanes it creates, suppress exposed targets, close to chainsword range against the weakest flank, and never waste ammunition on panic.

Enemy Dossier

GM Reference

A Chaos Space Marine is a transhuman veteran of ten thousand years of treason, wearing armor your lasguns were never rated against. One of them arriving on the field is not a reinforcement; it is a change of subject.

// Battlefield Use

Use this enemy when the encounter needs to escalate from a firefight into a survival problem, or when a cult or traitor cell needs a spine the party cannot simply shoot out.

// Threat Profile

High durability, heavy armor, strong ranged and melee pressure, immune to ordinary fear, nearly impossible to suppress with light weapons.

// Signature Traits

Transhuman Physiology. Advantage on saves against poison, disease, and fear; once per scene ignores the Pinned condition.

Corrupted Warplate. Ranged attacks from beyond 30 feet have Disadvantage while it holds cover.

Centuries of Treason. Cannot be Suppressed by enemies of TR 2 or lower.

// Signature Actions

Boltgun. High-damage ranged attack that turns light cover into a suggestion.

Bolter Suppression. Suppresses a 10-foot zone; failed Willpower Save causes Pinned.

Chainsword. Brutal melee attack; a critical hit leaves the target Exposed.

Morale: Does not check morale against ordinary battlefield fear; withdraws only for tactical advantage or when the warband's objective is met.

Tactics: Run it like a veteran, not a monster. It advances through Fire Lanes it creates, suppresses whoever shoots best, and closes to chainsword range against the weakest flank. Never waste its ammunition on panic and never let it stand in the open out of pride.
