Threat File — Chaos Marine Havoc
TR 9 · Traitor AstartesSaves: Toughness +7, Willpower +5
Proficiencies: Awareness +6, Athletics +7
Braced Devastation. While the Havoc is braced and has not moved this turn, its suppression zones are 15 feet instead of 10.
Transhuman Gun-Platform. The Havoc cannot be Pinned while braced, and being bloodied does not interrupt its firing pattern.
Ammunition Tithe. The Havoc's first Burst or Suppression each scene consumes no ammunition.
Heavy Bolter Sweep. Ranged Attack: +7 to hit, range 120/360 ft., one target. Hit: 2d10 + 4 ballistic damage. Against an Exposed target moving through its Fire Lane, this attack is made at Advantage.
Lock the Corridor. The Havoc establishes a Fire Lane in a straight line within heavy bolter range until the start of its next turn. Creatures ending their turn inside it make a Willpower Save DC 15 or become Pinned.
Krak Response. Ranged Attack: +7 to hit, range 60/180 ft., one target. Hit: 3d10 + 4 piercing damage. This shot is reserved for vehicles, brutes, and heavy cover, and ignores damage reduction from armor plating.
Reactive Fire. The Havoc may make Reactive Fire against a creature crossing its Fire Lane.
Morale: Holds position with contempt; repositions only on squad orders or when his firing solution is fully compromised.
Tactics: Set up before the fight starts, covering the route the party wants, and never be the closest enemy. Make them spend smoke, grenades, psychic powers, or blood to cross the lane while cultists screen the flanks.
Loot / Evidence / Hooks: The heavy bolter and its blessed ammunition hoard are functional, jealously maintained, and worth a squad's weight in requisition.
Enemy Dossier
GM ReferenceA Chaos Marine Havoc is a transhuman heavy weapons specialist who loves the noise his gun makes. He converts corridors, streets, and killing fields into arithmetic the party cannot afford.
Use this enemy when the encounter needs a fire lane that light infantry cannot establish, or a reason the party must flank, sabotage, or smoke rather than advance.
High durability, extreme ranged pressure, area suppression, punishes movement, weaker once flanked or forced into melee.
