A bladed lesser daemon that exists to close distance.
Threat File — Bloodletter-Type Lesser Daemon
TR 6 · Daemons & Warp EntitiesSaves: Strength +6, Willpower +4
Proficiencies: Athletics +6, Intimidation +4
Senses: Scents blood and fear within 60 feet regardless of sight
Daemonic Nature. The bloodletter does not make Morale checks and is immune to fear and Suppression. When reduced to 0 Vitality, it is banished screaming back into the warp rather than slain, and its death may leave residual Corruption in the area.
Unnatural Terror. A creature that starts its turn within 15 feet of the bloodletter and can see it makes a Willpower Save DC 13 or is Frightened until the end of its turn. A creature that succeeds is immune to this bloodletter's terror for the rest of the scene.
Warp-Forged Frame. The bloodletter ignores difficult terrain while moving toward a bleeding or wounded creature.
Hellblade. Melee Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 2d8 + 4 slashing damage. On a critical hit, the target also suffers Corruption exposure as the blade tastes its soul.
Murderous Lunge. The bloodletter moves up to its full Movement toward an enemy, ignoring Reactive Fire from targets other than the one it is charging, and makes one hellblade attack. If it moved at least 20 feet in a straight line, the attack gains +2 damage and the target is Exposed until the end of its next turn.
Scent of Slaughter. When a creature within 30 feet of the bloodletter drops to 0 Vitality, the bloodletter may immediately move up to half its Movement toward the nearest enemy.
Morale: Does not make Morale checks (daemonic nature). It fights until banished; retreat is not a concept it was made with.
Tactics: Close distance by the straightest line of blood, ignore cover and suppression entirely, single out wounded or isolated targets, and let terror do the work of a second blade.
Enemy Dossier
GM ReferenceA Bloodletter-Type Lesser Daemon is a bladed instrument of murder that exists to close distance — rage given a body, a hellblade, and a straight line to the party. It cannot be frightened, suppressed, or discouraged, only banished.
Use this enemy when the encounter needs melee pressure that ignores every tool the party uses to slow mortal attackers.
Moderate durability, high melee damage, fast, fear pressure, immune to morale and Suppression, Corruption exposure on critical hits, banished rather than killed.
Daemonic Nature. Does not check morale, immune to fear and Suppression; banished screaming at 0 Vitality, possibly leaving residual Corruption.
Unnatural Terror. Enemies starting their turn within 15 feet save or are Frightened; success grants immunity for the scene.
Warp-Forged Frame. Ignores difficult terrain while moving toward a bleeding or wounded creature.
Hellblade. Brutal melee attack; on a critical hit the blade tastes the soul, inflicting Corruption exposure.
Murderous Lunge. Charges its full movement, ignoring Reactive Fire from all but its target; a straight-line charge hits harder and leaves the target Exposed.
Scent of Slaughter. When a nearby creature drops, it surges toward the next enemy.
Morale: Does not check morale; retreat is not a concept it was made with, and it fights until banished.
Tactics: Close by the straightest line of blood. It ignores cover and suppression entirely, singles out wounded or isolated targets, and lets terror do the work of a second blade. Its weakness is its honesty — the party can always predict where it is going.
