Senses: Smells open wounds within 300 feet

// Traits

Daemonic Tide. The pack does not make Morale checks and cannot be Suppressed. Casualties do not slow the survivors; the last bloodletter fights exactly like the first.

Butcher Wave. The pack is a mass of bodies: attacks that affect an area deal double damage to it, while single-target attacks merely thin it. While above half Vitality, the pack attacks with Advantage.

Wall of Terror. Enemies within 15 feet of the pack's front make a Willpower Save DC 14 each round it advances or become Frightened until the start of their next turn.

// Actions

Hellblade Wave. Melee Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., every enemy in contact with the pack's edge. Hit: 2d8 + 3 slashing damage.

Overrun. The pack surges up to its full Movement through a breached position. Each creature in its path makes a Toughness Save DC 14 or takes 2d6 + 3 bludgeoning damage and is knocked Prone as the tide floods past.

Drown the Champion. The pack concentrates on one target, making two Hellblade Wave attacks against it at Advantage. No other creature is attacked by the pack this round.

Morale: Does not make Morale checks (daemonic tide). The pack thins, never breaks, and retreat is not a concept it was made with.

Tactics: Run it as a wave with a timetable the party can compute: chokepoints, fire, and terrain buy rounds, but nothing buys safety. It moves at full speed through difficult terrain toward the most wounded visible enemy, and its one mercy is focus — a champion or a bleeding lure can bait it while others act.

Loot / Evidence / Hooks: Hellblade shards of brass-black iron that dissolve by dawn; a scholar of the Ordo Malleus pays well for one that lasts the night.

Enemy Dossier

GM Reference

A Bloodletter Pack is a butcher wave — lesser daemons of Khorne acting as a single crimson tide with one collective idea. Individually they are dangerous; together they are a deadline.

// Battlefield Use

Use this enemy when the party must hold a line, buy time, or protect someone against melee pressure that never wavers, hides, or slows.

// Threat Profile

Horde durability, overwhelming melee volume, fear saturation, immune to morale and Suppression, punishes static defense and broken formations alike, banished piecemeal.

// Signature Traits

Daemonic Tide. The pack does not check morale and cannot be Suppressed; casualties do not slow the survivors.

Wall of Terror. Enemies within 15 feet of the pack's front save against fear each round it advances.

Blood Scent Chorus. The pack moves at full speed through difficult terrain toward the most wounded visible enemy.

// Signature Actions

Hellblade Wave. Melee attacks against every enemy in contact with the pack's edge.

Overrun. The pack surges through a breached position, knocking failed savers prone and flooding past.

Drown the Champion. The pack concentrates on one target; that target is attacked at Advantage but everyone else gains a round of relief.

Morale: No morale; the pack thins, never breaks, and the last bloodletter fights exactly like the first.

Tactics: Run it as a wave with a timetable: the party should be able to compute when the line fails. Chokepoints, fire, and terrain buy rounds; nothing buys safety. Its one mercy is focus — it can be baited onto a champion or a bleeding lure while others act.
