Aeldari Warlock
A battlefield psyker who buffs allies and warps outcomes.
Threat File — Aeldari Warlock
TR 9 · AeldariSaves: Willpower +7
Proficiencies: Lore +7, Awareness +6
Runes of Battle. The warlock's powers are small edges applied constantly, not catastrophic gambles. Its rune-guided psychic actions never risk Perils of the Warp or instability.
Witch-Sight. The warlock cannot be surprised by conventional stealth and has Advantage on Awareness checks. It read the ambush in the runes an hour ago.
Destructor. A flame of pure spite in a 15-foot cone. Creatures in the cone make a Willpower Save DC 15, taking 3d8 psychic damage and becoming Frightened until the end of their next turn on a failure, or half damage on a success.
Witchblade. Melee Attack: +7 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 2d8 + 4 psychic damage. The blade wounds by will, not weight; damage reduction from armor or machine plating does not apply.
Embolden. One Aeldari ally within 60 feet immediately recovers from the Pinned, Suppressed, or Frightened condition.
Conceal. When an Aeldari ally within 60 feet is targeted by a ranged attack, the warlock wraps it in shadow-weave: ranged attacks against that ally suffer Disadvantage until the start of the warlock's next turn.
Morale: Withdraws with its charges by plan. A warlock's death matters to the craftworld, and it fights like someone who knows the price of its stone.
Tactics: Never let it be the target the party can reach — it works behind guardians and terrain, dispensing Conceal and Embolden where the pressure lands. Destructor is for whoever breaks through. Killing it should require a plan, and succeeding should visibly cripple the Aeldari machine.
Loot / Evidence / Hooks: The rune set is priceless and quietly malevolent in untrained hands, and the witchblade goes dull and heavy for any wielder it was not sung for.
Enemy Dossier
GM ReferenceAn Aeldari Warlock is a battlefield psyker on the witch path — runes, a witchblade, and powers that bend outcomes a few crucial degrees at exactly the wrong moment for the party. It is the reason Aeldari plans keep working.
Use this enemy as force-multiplying psychic support: the figure behind the line making every other Aeldari unit ten percent more unfair.
Threat Profile: Low durability, moderate melee via witchblade, strong psychic buffs and battlefield debuffs, morale and perception attacks, priority target that Aeldari doctrine keeps screened.
