// Traits

Battle-Dance Conditioning. Melee attacks against the storm guardian by creatures that moved 10 feet or less this turn suffer Disadvantage.

Wave Discipline. The storm guardian gains +1 to hit against targets already engaged in melee by another Aeldari.

// Actions

Blade Rush. The storm guardian moves up to its Movement, then makes a Melee Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 2d6 + 2 slashing damage, plus 1d6 damage if the rush began in cover or concealment the target was not watching.

Fusion Pistol Flash. Ranged Attack: +4 to hit, range 15/45 ft., one target. Hit: 2d10 + 2 fire damage. Vehicles and constructs take an extra 1d10 damage. Saved for the party's heaviest problem.

Withdraw in Step. The storm guardian falls back up to half its Movement without provoking Reactive Fire from any creature an Aeldari ally is engaging.

Morale: Withdraws with the line the moment the exchange sours. Storm guardians do not trade their long lives for ground.

Tactics: Hold out of sight until the party commits, then hit a flank or a straggler at speed. Fight in pairs, finish wounded targets, and leave before the party's weight arrives. Never slug it out.

Loot / Evidence / Hooks: A working fusion pistol is worth a hab-block on the black market; its wraithbone grip resents human flesh and the craftworld resents the theft more.

Enemy Dossier

GM Reference

An Aeldari Storm Guardian is a citizen-soldier tasked with the close work — blades, fusion pistols, and speed used as armor. It exists to punish whoever the Guardian line lured too far forward.

// Battlefield Use

Use this enemy as the counter-assault element in Aeldari encounters: the fast melee wave that hits a flank the moment the party overextends.

// Threat Profile

Threat Profile: Low durability, fast melee pressure with short-range special weapons, excellent Initiative, punishes isolated targets, fragile in prolonged engagement.

Wave Discipline. Gains +1 to hit against targets already engaged by another Aeldari.

// Signature Actions

Blade Rush. Moves and attacks in one flowing action; +1 damage if it charged from cover the target was not watching.

Fusion Pistol Flash. Short-range attack that ruins armor; saved for the party's heaviest problem.

Withdraw in Step. Falls back half Movement without provoking Reactive Fire from targets an ally is engaging.

Morale: Withdraws with the line when the exchange sours; storm guardians do not trade their long lives for ground.

Tactics: Hold them out of sight until the party commits, then strike a flank or a straggler at speed. They fight in pairs, finish wounded targets, and leave before the party's weight arrives. Never let them slug it out — they are a scalpel that returns to its sheath.
