// Traits

Aspect of the Dragon. The fire dragon does not make Morale checks while a designated hard target — a vehicle, emplacement, or heavy suit — still stands. The shrine's purpose is singular.

Approach Discipline. While the fire dragon moves from one piece of cover or concealment to another, Reactive Fire against it suffers Disadvantage. It does not walk into Fire Lanes; it unpicks them.

// Actions

Fusion Gun. Ranged Attack: +7 to hit, range 20/60 ft., one target. Hit: 3d10 + 4 fire damage. The attack ignores Defense bonuses from cover, and vehicles and constructs take an extra 2d10 damage.

Melta Bomb Placement. The fire dragon plants a charge on an adjacent vehicle or structure. At the start of the dragon's next turn it detonates for 6d10 fire damage unless removed first with a Tech check DC 15.

// Reactions

Dragon's Arithmetic. When the fire dragon's designated hard target ends a move out of fusion gun range, the dragon may move up to half its Movement toward it.

Morale: Utterly committed until the hard target dies, then withdraws by seer plan. Dragons measure victory in burning hulls, not held ground.

Tactics: Give it a target the party loves — the tank, the bunker, the allied walker — and play its approach as a countdown. The party's job is interdiction; the dragon's job is arithmetic. If it reaches range, the asset dies, and the dragon accepts the exchange either way.

Loot / Evidence / Hooks: An intact fusion gun is the prize of a career and a death sentence to carry openly; the craftworld tracks every one it loses.

Enemy Dossier

GM Reference

An Aeldari Fire Dragon-Type is a short-range armor killer — fusion weaponry, ritual aggression, and a doctrine of deleting the hardest target on the field first. Vehicles, bunkers, and heavy suits exist, from its perspective, briefly.

// Battlefield Use

Use this enemy when the party's armor, emplacement, or toughest asset needs a credible death threat that must close to do it.

// Threat Profile

Threat Profile: Moderate durability, extreme short-range anti-armor damage, disciplined approach work, dangerous to everything at melta range, exposed during the approach — that window is the party's whole counterplay.

// Signature Traits

Aspect of the Dragon. Never checks Morale while approaching a designated hard target; the shrine's purpose is singular.

Approach Discipline. Uses cover and squadmates' smoke to cross open ground; it does not walk into Fire Lanes, it unpicks them.

// Signature Actions

Fusion Gun. Short-range attack that treats armor and cover as suggestions; vehicles and heavy targets take catastrophic damage.

Melta Bomb Placement. Against a stationary vehicle or structure, plants a charge that ends it; someone must stop the dragon reaching the hull.

Dragon's Breath Volley. The squad fires as one at a single hard target; overkill is the doctrine.

Morale: Utterly committed until the hard target dies, then withdraws by seer plan; dragons measure victory in burning hulls, not held ground.

Tactics: Give them a target the party loves — the tank, the bunker, the allied walker — and play their approach as a countdown. The party's job is interdiction; the dragons' job is arithmetic. If they reach range, the asset dies, and the dragons accept the exchange either way.
