// Traits

Brood Halo. The Patriarch's will clings to the Abominant. Once per round, it may shrug off one condition (Pinned, Suppressed, Stunned, or Frightened) as psychic static discharges around its skull.

Favoured Monster. Aberrants within 30 feet gain +1 to hit and do not make Morale checks while the Abominant stands.

Mountain of Meat. The Abominant ignores the first critical hit against it each scene, treating it as a normal hit.

// Actions

Power Sledge Annihilation. Melee Attack: +8 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 3d10 + 6 bludgeoning damage. The strike destroys Light Cover, staggers vehicles, and hurls a creature of human size or smaller 10 feet and Prone on a failed Strength Save DC 15.

Bellowing Charge. The Abominant moves up to its full Movement in a straight line and makes one Power Sledge Annihilation attack. Creatures in its path make a Strength Save DC 15 or are knocked aside 5 feet and left Exposed until the start of their next turn.

// Reactions

Backlash Pulse. When the Abominant is first bloodied, a psychic crack rolls off it: enemies within 20 feet make a Willpower Save DC 14 or suffer Disadvantage on their next attack.

Morale: Does not make Morale checks; it never breaks. If the Patriarch dies, it goes berserk and attacks the nearest living thing regardless of allegiance.

Tactics: Run it as a moving objective: the party must choose between pouring fire into it or handling the wave around it, and either choice costs. Screen it with aberrants and let it walk through answers prepared for infantry. If they drop it early, let the cult's plan visibly falter.

Loot / Evidence / Hooks: The power sledge is wrapped in votive ribbons naming the Patriarch's favor — a relic other cells will kill to recover.

GM Reference

An Abominant is the cult's favored monster: an aberrant swollen by the gene-curse into a siege engine of flesh, haloed by the Patriarch's will and trailed by lesser aberrants who worship it. Walls, tanks, and heroes are all the same obstruction.

// Battlefield Use

Use this enemy as the spearhead of a full uprising assault or the guardian of the brood-nest's approach.

// Threat Profile

Very high durability, catastrophic melee damage, psychic backlash halo, aberrant escort synergy, effectively immune to morale.

// Signature Traits

Brood Halo. The Patriarch's will clings to it: once per round it may shrug off a condition (Pinned, shaken, slowed) as psychic static discharges.

Favoured Monster. Aberrants within 30 feet gain +1 to hit and do not check morale while the Abominant stands.

Mountain of Meat. Ignores the first critical hit against it each scene.

// Signature Actions

Power Sledge Annihilation. Devastating melee strike that destroys cover, staggers vehicles, and hurls smaller targets prone.

Bellowing Charge. Moves and attacks; creatures in its path make a Strength Save or are knocked aside and Exposed.

Backlash Pulse. When first bloodied, releases a psychic crack: nearby enemies make a Willpower Save or are shaken.

Morale: Never breaks; if the Patriarch dies it goes berserk, attacking the nearest living thing regardless of allegiance.

Tactics: Run the Abominant as a moving objective: the party must decide whether to pour fire into it or deal with the wave around it, and either choice costs. Screen it with aberrants and let it walk through the answers the party prepared for infantry. If they focus it down early, the cult's plan should visibly falter — that is the reward.
